While the Easter Bunny visited the area last weekend, we hope you didn’t overdo it with the yummy treats, because the Burlington County Animal Shelter is filled with pets sweet enough to make you forgo the Peeps and Cadbury eggs for kitty snuggles and doggy kisses.  Chocolate bunnies are great, but orange cats are even better. Thanos was named after a comic book supervillain, but this handsome fellow would be better cast as the sweet, sensitive lead in a romantic comedy.  Thanos is just one-year-old, but he already appreciates the finer things in life, such as soft blankets and kitty treats. While he enjoys playing with his feather toys, Thanos also has a calm, quiet side. He loves being petted and can’t for evenings spent snuggling on the couch watching the Phillies. Thanos is always ready to spend quality time with his volunteer friends, and he especially enjoys head rubs, as you can see from his video.
