Rupa Huq: former university lecturer THE delayed return of students to university campuses in England until at least May has come under fire from Ealing Central and Acton MP Rupa Huq. Ms Huq, who worked as a university lecturer over three decades prior to being elected in 2015, said it would be too late for many students, with exams to come. She said those in England were being treated differently to students in Wales, who have been able to return this week. The Ealing MP said the Gopvernment failed to understand that at institutions like Ealing’s own University of West London [UWL] there would not be a mass movement of students as many lived in the parental home.
