The Haryana government on Monday announced that schools will reopen in the state for students of classes 3 to 5 from March 24, Wednesday.
As per an order issued by the Department of School Education on Monday, regular classes for Class 3 to 5 students would be held only for three hours daily from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM amid strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs.
The state government has also assured that online classes for the students will continue along with regular classes. Students who wish to continue their studies through the online mode, as has been imparted to them during the past 10 months, can avail of this facility as before.

The Maharashtra government will consider reopening schools for students of classes 1 to 4 if schools can smoothly run classes 5 to 8 that are set to restart from January 27, state School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters in Parbhani city, about 515 kms away from Mumbai, the minister said RT-PCR tests of most of the teachers were conducted ahead of reopening of schools for classes 5 to 8.
