KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 The Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) for businesses travellers between Malaysia and Singapore will be suspended from Thursday, May 13, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced today.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 New Covid-19 case number saw a slight uptick from yesterday with 3,807 new infections reported over the last day, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah disclosed today.
He also reported 17 more Covid-19 related deaths over the same period, with 1,700 cumulative deaths to date, a fatality rate of 0.39 per cent.

pic) said the deaths involved 16 Malaysians and one foreigner, aged from 48 to 92.
“The 17 death cases were reported in Selangor (four cases), Penang (three), Melaka (three), Kuala Lumpur (two), Sarawak (two), Sabah (one), Kedah (one) and Kelantan (one), ” said Dr Noor Hisham in his daily Covid-19 press statement.
Most of the deceased suffered from underlying conditions including hypertension, chronic kidney disease, gout and diabetes.
The number of people in the intensive care unit (ICU) has gone up to a record high of 434.
The day before, there were 416 patients in ICU.
Currently, there are 224 patients who require ventilator support.
KUALA LUMPUR (May 10): Malaysia recorded 3,807 new daily Covid-19 cases today up from 3,733 yesterday pushing the number of active cases, which carry high transmission risks, to 37,396 the ninth straight day of staying above the 30,000 mark.
The number of active cases is at the highest level since Jan 17, when 37,782 were reported then.
Selangor topped the list again with most Covid-19 infections at 1,149, followed by Sarawak with 649 cases, Kelantan (329) and Kuala Lumpur (320). Selangor’s total infections reached 144,419 the highest among all states and federal territories.
The country’s cumulative infections increased to 444,484, according to the Health Ministry.
