PUTRAJAYA: More Covid-19 outbreaks at schools and education centres have emerged in the country, according to the Health Ministry.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said five out of eight new clusters on Friday (April 23) were linked to the education sector.
The five clusters are the Jalan Roban Lama cluster (Sarawak, 48 cases), Jalan Selirik cluster (Sarawak, 23 cases), Persiaran Sri Saujana cluster (Johor, eight cases), Mempaga Satu cluster (Pahang, 44 cases) and the Jalan Sungai Daun cluster (Penang, nine cases).
The Jalan Roban Lama cluster saw the discovery of 48 cases involving staff and students of a school in Saratok.
