PETALING JAYA: The Prime Minister has agreed to form a Health and Scientific Covid-19 advisory group, which will advise the government on matters related to the pandemic management.
Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has also invited professionals, who had sent the premier an open letter to him on Jan 7, to nominate suitable candidates to be members of this advisory group.
He had also welcomed nomination of representatives from some of the 46 signatories to meet with him, the Health Minister, and Muhyiddin’s Special Advisor on Public Health, as well as other relevant senior officials.
“I would be open to listen to your advice and ideas so that we can all collectively contribute to reduce the number of infections and subsequent impact on the lives of the rakyat, ” he said in response to the open letter by the representatives.
