Covid-19: Malaysia reports 2,433 new cases, active cases surge to new high beyond 27,000

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 10): Malaysia today saw 2,433 new Covid-19 cases, with total active cases rising to 27,332. This has brought the total number of infections in the country to 135,992, according to Ministry of Health (MoH) director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, in a statement today. Meanwhile, 1,277 patients were cured and discharged, bringing total number of recoveries to 108,109. There are nine deaths reported today. (More to come)
