ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to summon PPP senior leader Qamar Zaman Kaira next week to record his statement in the ongoing investigation against former Managing Director (MD) Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) Yousuf Baig Mirza regarding illegal use of expenditures and misappropriation of government funds.
NAB Rawalpindi had summoned him last week, but Kaira avoided to appear before the Investigators. The NAB has decided to summon him again after Eid for recording his statement in this case.
NAB had issued the summons of Qamar Zaman Kaira on April 21 and directed him to appear before the NAB team on April 29 in the ongoing investigation against Yousaf Baig Mirza and others regarding illegal expenditures of Rs 2379 million, misuse of authority in appointments through non-transparent manners and misappropriation of government funds.
