Bataillon to 120 months’ imprisonment for four counts of solicitation to commit a crime of violence. Fletcher was also sentenced to 21 months for failing to register as a sex offender and 21 months for a supervised release violation. There is no parole in the federal system. Fletcher will begin a lifetime term of supervised release upon his release from prison. The time will run concurrent for all three cases.

Dealer In Fairfield County Known As Macho Accused Of Distributing Opioids, Heroin, Cocaine

Read / Add Comments A Fairfield County man has been sentenced to 5 years in federal prison for narcotics distribution and ammunition possession offenses. Luis Martinez, also known as “Macho,” 55, of Stratford, was sentenced Tuesday, Jan. 26, to prison time, followed by three years of supervised release, said John Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.  According to court documents and statements made in court, in the summer of 2017, members of the FBI’s Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and Bridgeport Police Department began investigating individuals who were distributing narcotics in and around Bridgeport.   The investigation, which included the use of court-authorized wiretaps and controlled purchases of narcotics, resulted in federal charges against 19 defendants and the seizure of narcotics, items used to process and package drugs for street sale, eight firearms, and more than $360,000 in cash.

Judge Alvin W. Thompson sentenced Luis “Macho” Martinez to 63 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the sentencing was held by video conference. During court proceedings, it was revealed that members of the FBI’s Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and Bridgeport police started investigating individuals in the summer 2017 who were selling drugs in and around the Park City.
