The front wall and the entire addition portion of the old Tony’s Restaurant on Piasa in Alton came tumbling down Thursday. The building, believed to have been about 100 years old, once housed the restaurant’s kitchen and a lower level dining room. The location will be cleared and become additional parking for Mac’s Timeout located nearby on Belle Street. A gallery of photos can be found online at thetelegraph.com. Show MoreShow Less
