PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Shehryar Afridi Tuesday said that resolution of Kashmir problems was among topmost priorities of Prime Minister Imran Khan and time was imminent when people living in occupied valley would get right of self determination.
He was addressing a ceremony in Jirga Hall Headquarters Orakzai. He said that there was no chance of discussion and trade with Indian until and unless the previous status of Kashmir was accepted.

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) Spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri on Wednesday told the members of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir that there was no change whatsoever in Pakistan’s position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
“Pakistan’s position is anchored on the United Nations (UN) resolutions on the Kashmir dispute. There is absolutely no change in Pakistan’s stance on resolving Kashmir dispute through dialogue and under the UN resolutions,” the FO spokesman was quoted to have stated while briefing the committee members during an in-camera meeting presided over by its chairman Shehryar Afridi.

Since coming to power in 2018, Prime Minister Imran Khan has shuffled his cabinet five times. More than half the PM’s cabinet has had its portfolio changed at least once.
April 2019: The first major hiring and firing in the country’s top decision-making body, the cabinet, took place in April 2019.
The changes included handing over the portfolio of the ministry of science to Fawad Chaudhry and relieving him of the ministry of information.
On the same day, Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, a well-known economist, was appointed adviser to the prime minister on finance.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday expressed anger at Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Shehryar Afridi, after the lawmaker voted his Senate election vote.
Geo News said the prime minister was not satisfied with the explanation that Afridi gave him. You are an MNA, how can you make a mistake like this? asked an unhappy PM Imran Khan. Everyone was informed about the voting procedure. You shouldn t have made a mistake like this, he said angrily.
Geo News had earlier reported that Afridi had wasted his vote mistakenly when he signed the ballot paper.
