Bristol City beat Reading 3-2 to climb off the bottom of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League, at the expense of West Ham.
Emma Harries took advantage of a defensive error to net her first senior goal for the Royals in the 13th minute but the Robins were not long in levelling, Ebony Salmon sending Charlie Wellings away to slip the ball through the legs of out-rushing keeper Grace Moloney.
Danielle Carter bundled the ball over the line for Reading but from an offside position, as the first half ended all square at 1-1.
