The Disaster Artist. Seth‘s 2007 movie The Disaster Artist, in which she played the role Safoya. In an Instagram post on Thursday (April 8), Charlyne accused James of being a sexual predator with a “long history of preying on children.” She also accused Seth of being one of his enablers. “When I tried to break legal contract & quit Disaster Artist because James Franco is a sexual predator, they tried to bribe me with a bigger acting role. Sexual Assault Awareness Month Seeks to Grow Community Support for Victims

About three out of four sexual assaults go unreported to law enforcement, and Sexual Assault Awareness Month seeks to show support for survivors, take action, and raise awareness of sexual violence in your community. Every 73 seconds an American is sexually assaulted, and 55% of sexual assaults occur at or near the victim’s home, according to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN). Washington County Attorney John Gish says it takes a lot of courage for a victim to report sexual abuse, and criminal cases don’t always result in a prison sentence, “Without physical evidence and just working off of the testimony of the victim alone, historically juries are not likely to find a defendant guilty. And that’s a very hard pill for me as a prosecutor to swallow, and that is very difficult for me to explain to victims and their families why I might be making a plea offer in a case.”

Charlyne Yi says she quit The Disaster Artist over James Franco allegations

Back in early 2018 shortly after his film The Disaster Artist, which he directed and starred in, arrived in theaters James Franco was hit with accusations from five women, alleging sexually inappropriate behavior had taken place at his now-shuttered Studio 4 acting school. Franco eventually settled a suit with two of those women, whose accusations included a variety of improprieties related to the school’s handling of sexually explicit work. But this latest incident was only the latest in a long line of allegations that have been levied against Franco over the years, most notably the incident in 2014 in which he admitted to inviting a 17-year-old to join him in a hotel room via Instagram.
