Missing Paulding County woman found dead in Sweetwater Creek, police say

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - The body of a missing Paulding County woman has been found in a car discovered underwater in Sweetwater Creek.
Officials say 36-year-old Amanda Lindley had not been seen since leaving her home on Cohran Store Road to go to work around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. On Thursday, the Paulding County Sheriff s Office sent out Lindley s photo on Facebook, asking residents to be on the lookout for her.
Around 4:20 p.m. Thursday, one of Lindley s family members called 911 to report a possible motor accident on a bridge on the 1800 block of Friendship Church Road. The caller told police that they found debris from a vehicle in the water that appeared to be similar to Lindley s 2004 Mercedes E320.

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies are searching for the gunman who shot into another vehicle while driving along a busy Paulding County roadway last Thursday.
Some type of dispute occurred between the two and shots were fired from one vehicle into the other near the intersection of Ida Lane. Just be aware of your surroundings. Be aware of what’s going on, Paulding County Sheriff’s Spokesman Ashley Henson said.

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies are searching for the gunman who shot into another vehicle while driving along a busy Paulding County roadway last Thursday.
Paulding County deputies said the two vehicles were driving east on Macland Road around 5:50 p.m. on April 22. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office released photos of the vehicles involved.

Van Wert Post investigating fatal crash in Paulding County

CRANE TOWNSHIP –– On April 14, 2021, at approximately 11:22 a.m.,
Troopers from the Van Wert Post responded to a report of an injury crash
involving two commercial vehicles at the intersection of US 127 and
County Road 176 in Crane Township, Paulding County.
A 2019
International LT 625 semi operated by Timothy Ray Webber, age 60, of
Dayton, Ohio, was southbound on U.S. 127 and began to make a right turn
onto County Road 176 when his commercial vehicle became stuck in low
hanging telephone lines damaged in an earlier traffic crash.

PAULDING COUNTY A Wauseon man was killed Wednesday in an accident involving two semi tractor-trailer rigs and downed telephone lines.
According to troopers from the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2019 International LT 625 semi driven by Timothy Ray Webber, 60, of Dayton, was southbound on U.S. 127 at approximately 11:20 a.m. Wednesday when the rig became entangled in downed telephone lines from another accident while attempting to turn right onto Paulding County Road 176 in Crane Township.
Vance Owen Campbell, 54, of Wauseon, saw the semi stopped and began to help remove the telephone lines from the semi when a 2020 Volvo VRN semi driven by John Richard Reber, 40, of Wauseon, also collided with the low-handing telephone lines, which then struck Campbell, who was standing on Webber’s trailer, killing him.
