Across the healthcare spectrum in India, inadequate healthcare infrastructure, shortage of skilled medical workforce and providing quality care to the patient are the major issues that can be identified.

Pune: Turnout for the first dose of the Covid vaccine from healthcare and frontline staff remained bad with just 31% of the targeted 8,500 recipients taking the shot in the district yesterday.
A low turnout for the second dose of the vaccine was reported on the second day of the drive. Of the estimated 8,500 vaccine recipients across the district, only 2,689 received the jab of whom 1,425 were healthcare staff and 1,264 frontline staff.
