Lilli Adele Walker spouted abuse at Hamsa Ahmad in the city centre shop in Western Road, Brighton. The 23-year-old admitted assaulting Mr Ahmad during the incident. In a separate incident, she admitted assaulting a man and a woman at Goldstone Villas in Hove. She was also drunk and disorderly during those attacks. Walker, of Swanborough Place, Brighton, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court where she admitted racially aggravated assault, using threatening or abusive behaviour, two assaults, and being drunk and disorderly in public. The incidents took place in March last year. Walker was ordered to pay a £100 fine, with a £90 surcharge and £100 court costs.
Desire Oliva had parked a vehicle at Cannon Place, Brighton on three occasions. She had used the blue badge “with intent to deceive” a court ruled. The 23-year-old was also found guilty of failing to identify the driver of the vehicle to Brighton and Hove City Council. At a hearing at Brighton Magistrates’ Court she was found guilty of three counts of using the parking device with intent to deceive. Oliva, of Celandine Close, Crawley, was fined £360 for the offences, with a £36 surcharge. She must also pay £750 court costs for the city council bringing the prosecution after the hearing held last month.
