Alexander Wells released from prison a year ago is being held on parole violation

A Cambridge man taken into custody by authorities while investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy remains incarcerated in the Guernsey County Jail on a parole violation hold.
Alexander T.M. Wells, 25, was jailed on March 8 after being questioned by Cambridge police detectives.
Wells has not been charged in connection to the death of Emrys Pyle, however the child s mother, Shelby Stormes, 23, Cambridge, was charged by police on March 8 with one count of endangering children, a third-degree felony. She remained incarcerated in the county jail on a $500,000 bond.
