Farmington Couple Died Saturday Morning in House Fire
For the third time in a week, a Maine resident has died in a house fire.
UPDATE: The State Fire Marshal s Office says the second victim of this fire, 72-year-old Tomasa Vincent, has succumbed to injuries sustained in this fire. The investigation is ongoing, but officials suspect it started as a result of combustibles left too close to a woodstove.
A 911 call sent fire crews to the home of 75-year-old William Vincent on Saturday. When they arrived at 160 Clover Mills Road, they learned that two people were inside the home, when the fire broke out. A woman was able to exit the home on her own, and was transported to the Franklin Memorial Hospital for treatment. Mr. Vincent was eventually located but did not survive the fire.
