Restrictions on visiting patients in Bradford hospitals confirmed | Bradford Telegraph and Argus

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation has confirmed the changes to its visitors’ restrictions. The Trust writes on its website: “We doing everything possible to keep our patients and visitors safe. “We have reviewed our visiting rules in light of national guidance and the current national lockdown.”   We have made changes to the wording on our website regarding visiting patients who have been in our hospitals for over 21 days. Africa4U to celebrate Bradford success stories in online event this month

A BRADFORD-based organisation will host an event this month aiming to recognise the achievements of people from a range of different cultural, social and religious communities across the district. The Africa4U Association will not only celebrate success stories, but will also attempt to bridge the gap and improve dialogue between communities across Bradford, when it holds The Interfaith Virtual Awards and Community Cohesion Webinar on Saturday, 16 January. The event - held over Zoom - will start at 8pm, and will feature a range of guest speakers. Dr Chris Bem; consultant and surgeon at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Shipley MP Philip Davies, The Leap Bradford, Ismael Lea South; the CEO of The Salam Project, Bradford poet Sheena Hussain, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Team and Dionne V Hood; the development officer for Bradford Libraries are just some of the key speakers who will play a part.

Another four COVID-19-related deaths reported by Bradford district hospitals

THERE have been another four coronavirus-related deaths reported by hospitals in the Bradford district today, according to the latest figures from NHS England. Three of the deaths were reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with one of those deaths reported to have happened on New Year s Day and two of them reported to have happened yesterday. One death was reported by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and was reported to have taken place on 1 January. It means the total number of COVID-19-related hospital deaths in the Bradford district, according to NHS England, now stands at 650 - 462 of those have been reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 186 by Airedale and two by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Four further COVID-19-related deaths reported by hospitals in Bradford

THERE have been four more COVID-19-related deaths reported by hospitals in the Bradford district today, according to the latest NHS England figures. Three of the deaths were reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with two reported to have happened on 31 December and one reported to have happened yesterday. One death was reported by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and was reported to have taken place on 31 December. It means the total number of COVID-19-related hospital deaths in the Bradford district, according to NHS England, now stands at 646 - 459 of those have been reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 185 by Airedale and two by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
