Kentucky State Police are investigating after four people were found dead near a home in Ohio County Wednesday.
Troopers were notified of a shooting about 4:30 p.m. and arrived at a home on US 62 West in the McHenry community to find three victims outside and dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
A detached structure was on fire and the Beaver Dam Volunteer Fire Department was in the process of putting out the blaze.
On Thursday, investigators found a fourth victim inside the burned detached structure.
Autopsies were scheduled for Thursday at the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville on the three victims who were initially discovered.

Fatal shooting under investigation in Jersey City ×
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating the fatal shooting of an East Orange man in Jersey City.
According to the HCPO, on May 14, at approximately 1:50 a.m., the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area of the City Crossings Apartments parking lot at Merseles Court and Bright Street in Jersey City.
Officers found an apparently lifeless man with a gunshot wound to the torso.
The victim, later identified as Stebbin Drew, 37, of East Orange, was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at approximately 2:15 a.m.
A 37-year-old East Orange man was shot and killed overnight in Jersey City.
Stebbin Drew was found unresponsive after being shot near the City Crossings Apartments parking lot at Merseles Court and Bright Street around 1:50 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

Son of Jersey City murder victim arrested on Mother’s Day ×
On Mother’s Day, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and Jersey City Police Department arrested Terrance Nelson, 29, of Jersey City, wanted for the death of his mother, 60.
Homicide Unit detectives and Jersey City police officers arrested Nelson without incident at his mother’s home at 18 Virginia Ave. just after 8 a.m. Sunday, May 9.
Nelson was charged with Murder, a first-degree crime.
On Thursday, May 6, just before 1 a.m., members of the Jersey City Police and Fire Departments responded to a call of a disturbance at 18 Virginia Ave. where a one-alarm fire was underway.
