WATERTOWN â Bridgeview Real Estate Services LLC announced Wednesday that it has appointed two new leaders, coming after the co-owners died in a shooting last month.
Bridgeview owners Paige OâBrien and Joe Quigg have appointed Jennifer Flynn and Lorie OâBrien as brokers in the firmâs transition. The move comes after the original owners, Maxine M. Quigg and Terence M. OâBrien, were shot and killed April 28. The shooter, Barry K. Stewart, a former employee, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound hours after the shooting.
The new owners are coming in with a long history of involvement in the real estate community.

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - New brokers have been appointed to lead a Watertown real estate business, which lost its owners in a deadly shooting last month.
Jennifer Flynn and Lorie O’Brien have been chosen to lead Bridgeview Real Estate Services. Both were previously associate brokers with the firm.
They continue the work of Maxine Quigg and Terry O’Brien, who were gunned down on April 28 in their office on Clinton Street.

WATERTOWN â The beauty of it all overwhelmed her.
Edna White couldnât believe that a project she helped launch had finally come to fruition. In the middle of a busy neighborhood on Chicagoâs South Side, she and other volunteers created a community garden in 1993.
As the editor at the time of the local weekly newspaper in that area, I took photos of work being done at the garden shortly after the initiative began. At one point, Edna stopped to behold the wonder of what was occurring.
The garden was in the early stages, to be sure. But Edna visualized what would be planted in each part of it and how lovely these additions would look. The notion delighted her to no end.

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - A line stretched down the street as people came out to pay their respects to Terry OâBrien.
His calling hours were Tuesday at Cummings Funeral Service on Watertownâs Sterling Street.
A 7 News reporter there said the line reached as far as Gotham Street.
OâBrien and Maxine Quigg were both shot to death last week inside the office of Bridgeview Real Estate Services, a business they co-owned.
