SAN DIEGO (KGTV) A freak accident on the first day of 2021 left a San Diego man unable to move or feel anything below his shoulders, but like his movie hero Rocky Balboa, Chase Friedman fought back and is inspiring thousands with a feat that even had Sylvester Stallone calling him âthe real Rocky.â
âHere we go! Here we go!â Exclaims one of hundreds of supporters gathered on the first day of spring to see Friedman climb the steps to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, also known as the famed Rocky steps.
If it rains, the event will take place Sunday. The weather forecast looks sunny for this weekend.
In addition to being home to the famous former prison, Fairmount also includes a range of bars and restaurants that visitors to the neighborhood may want to check out this weekend. Suggestions include Bad Brother, The Black Taxi, Zorba s and Urban Saloon. The Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Schuylkill River Trail also are nearby.
