Billy Grahamâs friend and pastor reflected on his yearslong friendship with the famed evangelist â and shared the lessons and values he believes the Church can glean from the life and ministry of a man he said mirrored the âvery heartbeat of God.âÂ
âMr. Graham s heartbeat and passion and reflection of the very face of God showed deeply, penetrated my own heart and life,â Don Wilton recalled in an interview with The Christian Post. âI ve never been around a man personally like that, who so deeply and genuinely and consistently reflected the face of God s grace. As a pastor myself, one can only imagine the enormous depth of the blessing that God conferred on me every time I was with him every week.â

The Rev. Franklin Graham, conservative evangelical leader and head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, has responded to Prince Harryâs recent comments dismissing the First Amendment â freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion â as âbonkers.â
In a Facebook post on Monday, Graham defended the U.S. Constitution and recommended that the British royal learn more about it before making additional comments.
âMy ancestors were among those who came to this country to gain these freedoms. I am so thankful that I have the freedom to worship without government interference, and I thank God that the founders of our Constitution gave us this protection,â wrote Graham.
