Southwest announces non-stop flights from Phoenix to Hawaii for $159

Southwest Airlines on Thursday announced new non-stop service from Phoenix to Hawaii beginning this summer.
Non-stop flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to Honolulu and Kahului, Maui begin on June 27. Flights to Kona and Lihue, Kauai begin on September 7.
Prices for the new one-way flights begin at $159. Phoenix is another place where more locals fly with Southwest than any other carrier we’ve grown since launching Phoenix in 1982 to offer service currently to nearly 60 cities nonstop on more than 180 departures a day and Hawaii service on Southwest is a longtime request, said Andrew Watterson, chief commercial officers and executive vice president for Southwest. Another airline has jumped into the competition to fly people from Phoenix to LA without the hassle of Los Angeles International Airport.
Frontier Airlines is adding a new route between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Hollywood Burbank Airport starting July 15.
The news came as part of Frontier s larger announcement that it will begin service from Burbank. New Frontier destinations from there include Las Vegas and Denver.
Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operational design for Frontier, said the airline was excited to add Burbank to its route map.
“Frontier offers a robust flight schedule in Southern California and the addition of Burbank will provide an even more convenient and easy to use option for many in the region seeking affordable fares and friendly service to a variety of popular destinations, Flyr said in a press release.

Woman Confronts Disgusting Men Taking Pictures of Young Beachgoers

A video of a young woman standing up to two men taking photographs of her and other female beachgoers without their consent has gone viral online.
Footage of the incident was posted to the Redditr/PublicFreakout page on Friday and took place at Fort Myers Beach in Florida. Although not much context was provided by the user who posted the video, the video was uploaded with the caption, Girl catches old man taking photos of young girls (presumably minors) on the beach in Florida.
The video starts with the concerned young woman approaching two older men at a table a few steps away from her group s setup.
