Motorcyclist, passenger seriously injured in Ferrysburg crash Sentinel Staff FERRYSBURG A motorcyclist and his passenger were both severely injured in a crash Sunday night.  The Ottawa County Sheriff s Office responded to a motorcycle crash around 6:45 p.m. Sunday, April 25, on southbound US-31 in the construction zone near M-104.  Police determined a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 31-year-old Whitehall man, was headed northbound on US-31 when the driver lost control. The Whitehall man drifted into the southbound lanes of US-31, where it crashed.  The motorcycle then slid across the pavement into a white Mercury Sable going southbound. Neither the driver of the Sable nor his passengers were injured in the crash.
