GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – Leaders want to make sure that a late Georgetown County sheriff will always a place in the county.
The Georgetown County Council passed a resolution on Tuesday to request that the General Assembly consider designating part of part of Pleasant Hill Drive as “A. Lane Cribb Highway.”
It would span 15 miles starting at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Drive and County Line Road, heading east to the intersections of North Fraser Street at the community of Yauhannah.

According to court documents obtained by
XXL on Wednesday (April 28), Kodak, whose given name is now Bill K. Kapri, was handed an 18-month probation sentence after entering a guilty plea to first-degree assault and battery in connection to the 5-year-old incident that transpired between himself and an underage girl in a Florence S.C. hotel in February of 2016. Kodak also has to pay a $125 fine and is ordered to complete counseling.
Inside the courtroom, Kodak addressed the victim, who appeared via a virtual live feed. “I apologize this happened and I’m hopeful we can all move forward,” the rapper said.
