Bethlehem schools begin testing staff for coronavirus

BETHLEHEM The school district said it began rapid testing asymptomatic staff for COVID-19 Thursday, in anticipation of bringing 7-12 graders back to in-person learning next week.
Bethlehem schools said it has begun testing teachers and other staff at the middle and high schools, and will expand to testing employees from other schools next week. Student testing will begin shortly after that, the district said. Middle and high schoolers, with parent approval, will be tested at school. Elementary students have to be brought to the district s highway garage for drive-thru testing if they are selected to be part of the testing pool.
