University officials said Brands tested positive during his regularly scheduled rapid antigen test Wednesday morning, followed by a PCR test to confirm the diagnosis. Brands is asymptomatic and will remain home until Feb. 13. Wrestlers, coaches, and staff members are tested daily as part of the Big Ten Conference return to play protocols, the university said through a news release.Iowa wrestles Sunday in West Lafayette, Indiana, against Purdue and Ohio State. “Our guys are preparing for competition just as they always do. Michigan State University Athletics is receiving their largest single cash commitment in school history from men s basketball alumnus Mat Ishbia, according to a release from MSU Athletics.
Ishbia has committed $32 million to benefit MSU Athletics in a variety of ways, including a significant expansion of athletic facilities, funds to support career services and as well as enhancing the university s athletics overall, the release states.
