Subscriber only The time for real music lovers is here according to a new punk rock and metal dive bar that s now ready to rock in Maroochydore. The highly-anticipated Eleven Dive Bar will open its doors on June 11 at their new premises on Duporth Avenue. The live music venue aims to celebrate all styles of live music from punk, metal, grunge, blues and rock. The site will open with band Northlane and special guests Alpha Wolf and Stepson for an 18+ only event. Northlane will headline the first show at Eleven Dive Bar. Subscriber only The Sunshine Coast will come together on the weekend to honour the men and women who put their lives on the line as Anzac Day services are held across the region. Last year residents commemorated Anzac Day like never before as virus restrictions forced the cancellation of several marches and services. Some events will not go ahead on Sunday due to the recent outbreak in Brisbane as there was too little time to make suitable preparations under the previous guidelines. The Daily has listed all the services that are proceeding as normal, including business closures on Sunday and the public holiday on Monday below.

Basically, the victim was just sitting there and gets belted, unprovoked. He (the accused) just laid into him, punching him in the head. Sergeant Edwards said the accused had been involved in an earlier incident that had nothing to do with the victim and that he got the wrong person . He said the French national is believed to be on a working visa. Sergeant Edwards said it was another example of a spike in severe incidents of violence within the Coast s safe night precincts. The accused was released on bail with conditions and is due to face the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on May 5.
