UPDATE: 2.45PM: An evacuation at the Big Top Shopping Centre at Maroochydore was due to an automated alarm. Staff and shoppers were evacuated from the centre about 2pm on Tuesday. A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said one crew was called but left by 2.15pm after confirming it was a false alarm.
