Our team Big White Ski Resort is out to assist with our mandatory mask policy and to show you pictures of how to use your poles so you can stay six feet apart, wrote senior vice president Michael Ballingall, in a Facebook group. Six feet, or roughly two metres, is the distance health officials recommend people stay apart from others not in their household in order to prevent COVID-19 from spreading, since symptoms don t always show up when someone has the disease.

has sparked outrage and two official complaints for allegedly violating the province s COVID-19 public health orders related to mask use in indoor work places. A public health order issued by Hinshaw on Dec. 8 requires mandatory mask use in all indoor workplaces and facilities outside the home. It applies to all employees and includes any location where employees are present in person. An employee would be exempt if they are working alone in an office, in a safely distanced cubicle or if a barrier is in place.
