Former N.J. massage therapist accused of sexual assault in 2016 after doing it again, police say Updated May 12, 2021; Authorities on Wednesday accused a former massage therapist in Bergen County of sexually assaulting a client during a massage in 2016, after he allegedly had criminal sexual contact with another client earlier this year. Police on Tuesday arrested Jhon A. Cabrera, 28, of Paterson, and charged him with sexual assault for allegedly assaulting a female client in 2016 when he was a masseur in Emerson, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a statement. Cabrera was being held in Bergen County Jail pending his first hearing.

WINDOLOSKI (DOB: 6/24/97; single; limo driver) of 478 River Road, Hogansburg, New York on drug offenses. The arrests are the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti. On April 27, 2021, detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor s Office Narcotics Task Force initiated a traffic stop on a Ford Expedition as it was traveling on Interstate 80 East in Lodi, New Jersey. Upon approaching the vehicle, they identified SHAWN R. PORTER as the driver and JEREMY M. WINDOLOSKI as the passenger. When the windows to the vehicle were rolled down, detectives observed the entire rear portion of the vehicle to be filled with thirteen oversized duffle bags. Notorious N.J. ‘Torso Killer’ pleads guilty to 2 murders from 1974 Updated 5:14 PM; Richard Cottingham, the notorious serial killer dubbed the “Torso Killer” for his gruesome modus operandi, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to two murders from 1974, authorities announced. Cottingham, 74, who is currently serving a life sentence in New Jersey State Prison after admitting to six killings in New York and New Jersey, pleaded guilty to killing Mary Ann Pryor, 17, and Lorraine Kelly, 16, back in August 1974, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a statement. Early January 2020, it was discovered that Cottingham had previously confessed to the murders of three Bergen County teenagers in the late 1960s - each a cold case for over 50 years. Although he was not charged with the teens’ murders, the prosecutor’s office said the cases were “exceptionally cleared.”

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces the following information:  The Ridgewood Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor s Office are investigating the cause of a fatal fire in Ridgewood early Monday, April 26, 2021. At approximately 12:55 a.m. on April 26, 2021, the Ridgewood Police Department received a report of a house fire at 255 North Pleasant Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ. Members of the Ridgewood Fire Department located a fire in the area of the kitchen. During fire suppression operations, firefighters located the homeowner, 66-year-old Sharon Maes, unresponsive in the living room of the residence. Ms. Maes succumbed to her injuries from the fire and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
