BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Authorities have released a report on the continuing investigation into a possible arson that happened at a home in Berkeley County.
The fire happened early Sunday morning at a mobile home on the 100 block of Craven Road in Ladson.
In the report, the property owner told responding deputies that she believed two family members were responsible for the fire. She said she had been receiving threats from the two people she claimed were involved in the incident.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Authorities with the Berkeley County Sheriffâs Office say they are continuing to investigate after a shooting victim died of his injuries at an area hospital.
Coroner George Oliver said 28-year-old Johntay Weathers of Moncks Corner died from his injuries after being shot in the Longridge Community last week.
On April 23, deputies responded to Callen Boulevard at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital in reference to Weathers arriving at the location to be treated for a gunshot wound.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Authorities say a 28-year-old man died Friday in a shooting in Berkeley County.
Johntay Weathers died at an area hospital after being shot in the Longridge Community, Coroner George Oliver said.
An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, he said.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the Berkley County Coroner’s Office are investigating.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriffâs Office says the State Law Enforcement Division has been called in to investigate a potential arson case.
Reports say the C&B Fire Department was dispatched to the 100 block of Craven Road in Ladson at 4:45 a.m. Sunday.
The BCSO says the fire started sometime around 4:30 a.m., but by the time firefighters got to the scene, the fire was fully involved.

A deputy with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office met with the 26-year-old victim who said he was supposed to buy 3 grams of cocaine from a man who instead robbed him at gunpoint.
