(WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office says they have issued warrants for a man they say sold catalytic converters with a suspended permit. Eric Dylan Clark is facing two charges for the unlawful sale of nonferrous metals, deputies say. Detectives say they were performing a routine follow-up at Alltech Recycling about a secondary metal permit when they found records of Clark selling five catalytic converters.

(WCSC) - Authorities have identified a woman who was killed in a crash involving a Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office K-9 vehicle. Coroner George M. Oliver said 73-year-old Julia Georgiadis died in the crash that happened in Bonneau on Tuesday. Both the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office is investigating. Officials with the Highway Patrol reported that the crash happened at 10:02 a.m. on U.S. 52 and Shelly Street and involved a 2019 Chevy Tahoe, identified as the deputy’s vehicle, and a 1984 Toyota pick up truck.

(WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed one of its K9 units has been involved in a fatal crash. The crash happened shortly after 10 a.m. in the 1300 block of Main Street in Bonneau, Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis said.
