CHP investigating collision involving a wrong way driver in Delano

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. â Multiple people are injured after a wrong way driver collided into at least one vehicle in Delano Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to the CHP traffic incident page, the wrong way driver was reported to correct his direction when traffic gets close, then would turn around the wrong way again.
The traffic page states that the wrong way driver crashed into a Grey Nissan along Banner Avenue, just north of Highway 65 shortly before 8 p.m.
A vehicle reportedly collided into a tree, just north of the first collision.

This is being done by creating the Central Valley Button Holocaust Memorial, with six million buttons, to represent the millions of Jews who lost their lives due to the Holocaust. The Chabad Jewish Community Center says they need residents help to make this possible.

California Highway Patrol investigating deadly crash Monday morning on Alfred Harrell Hwy

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) â According to the CHP, just after one this morning, officers responded to a rollover on Alfred Harrell Highway just East of Hart Park.
The CHP says the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and went off the road, dropping about 12 feet onto a pedestrian walkway before landing on it s roof.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
CHP says alcohol does appear to be a factor in this incident.
This investigation is ongoing.

Kern County Sheriff s Office investigating a homicide in Arvin

ARVIN, Calif (KERO) â The Kern County Sheriff s office is currently investigating a homicide that took place in Arvin earlier this morning.
According to KCSO, deputies responded to the area of Towerline Road and Buena Vista Boulevard just after 6:30 a.m. When they arrived they found the body of an adult female next to an orchard. According to the deputies the body showed signs of trauma. Homicide detectives were called to the scene and took over the investigation.
