The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been carrying out multiple raids across Mumbai and other satellite cities to apprehend drug peddlers. These raids precede the arrest of a Nigerian national on January 15.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is probing into drug rackets involving several high-profile personalities, carried out raids at two places in Mumbai on Friday.
This comes after Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik s son-in-law Sameer Khan was arrested and sent to NCB custody. He is currently being probed in connection with the case.
Recently, Mumbai s renowned Muchhad Paanwala was arrested in the drug case.

Mumbai Police seized over 345 kg marijuana or ganja valued at around Rs 52 million on Friday.
Saki Naka police raided a building in Sangharsh Nagar, a
Chandivali suburb in north-east Mumbai, after getting a tip-off that a huge consignment of marijuana hidden in the building.
As per reports, the ‘ganja’ was found hidden in a small flat in the Slum Redevelopment Authority complex.
The cops from
Sakinaka Police Station scrutinized the CCTV footage thoroughly and identified one Ashok M Metre (39) as accused. He was arrested and booked under the NDPS Act, said Reddy.
