A 16-year-old dies at a residence in the 700 block of North Grand Avenue in Sedalia on August 4, and three persons are facing felonies in connection with the aftermath.
According to a police report, a Sedalia Police officer responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center in reference to a deceased juvenile who was brought to the emergency room. Smith said the deceased individual- Jacob Howe- was dropped off by three individuals who left the hospital. It was determined Howe had been deceased for approximately one to six hours prior to his arrival at the Emergency Room.
Each of the subject; Kricket Kylee Dhority, who is not 19, 17-year-old Gunnar Fletcher-Zaremba and 20-year-old Gary McKinsey Jr. have been charged with a Class E Felony for Abandonment of a Corpse. All three defendants have been released after posted $7,500 surety bond, each.
Sedalia Woman Injured in Accident on Bridge
A Sedalia woman was injured Thursday in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Pettis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2005 Chevy Impala, driven by 44-year-old Stacey L. Craig of Sedalia, was on US 65 at Flat Creek Road at 12:16 p.m., when the vehicle slid off the road, struck a guard rail, a bridge railing and another guard rail, then came to rest on the bridge.
Craig suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

Two Injured In Benton County Crash
Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred late Wednesday morning in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2003 Chevy Impala, driven by 31-year-old Tera C. Baker of Warsaw, was on Duran Creek Road, south of Route H at 11:40 a.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree and a fence.
Baker suffered minor injuries, while her passenger, 31-year-old Benjamin M. Atwood of Lincoln, suffered moderate injuries. Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
