Early Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Schwan s Home Delivery, 3303 Erika Avenue, for a report of a theft not in progress. The complainant stated three catalytic converters had been stolen from vehicles on their lot.   Sunday afternoon, a car was stopped at West Broadway and South Carr for an improper turn and failing to maintain its lane several times. After an investigation, it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. Crystal Dawn Anderson, 44, of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail for processing. Anderson was booked on a state charge of Driving While Intoxicated, pending release to a sober person.

A 65-year-old Sedalia man is facing a felony for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident that caused physical injury to another person. According to a report from the Sedalia Police Department, an officer reported to the scene of an injury accident on October 10, 2020. Upon arrival, the officer noted the victim had part of his middle finger on his right hand amputated during the accident. The victim said he was eastbound on West Broadway Boulevard when a silver minivan pulled out in front of him from a parking lot. The victim claimed he was not able to stop before colliding with the van. The victim said he swerved to attempt to pull into a nearby parking lot. The victim said he missed the parking-lot entrance and hit the bowling alley sign post at around 40 mph. He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment of his injury

Windsor Woman Injured in Pettis County Collision A Windsor woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night in Pettis County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 1977 Dodge Fargo RV, driven by 30-year-old Justin T. Lindsey of Windsor, experienced a mechanical failure and was struck from behind by a westbound 2006 Kia Sorento, driven by 30-year-old Gloria M. Taylor of Windsor. The incident happened at 10:45 p.m. on Missouri 52, east of Route E. Taylor suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Early Wednesday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of East Broadway and South Marvin Avenue for a license violation. The driver of the vehicle had an active Pettis County warrant for Failing to Register a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License. Raychel Lynn Riley, 37, of Marshall, was arrested with a bond set at $450. Tuesday evening, Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of the Police Department. While trying to determine what was going on, one of the subjects became uncooperative. The suspect refused multiple directives to get out of his car and nearly struck three Officers with his vehicle. The suspect was restrained. The subject vehicle was searched and a large quantity of THC vape cartridges, a large amount of cash, and a scale were recovered.
