Ontario is reporting 870 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday and 10 more deaths linked to the virus.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 225 new cases in Toronto, 167 in Peel Region and 49 in the Porcupine Health Unit region.

Ontario is reporting 870 new cases of COVID-19 and 10 more deaths on June 3, an increase after two straight days of daily infections closer to the 700 mark.
The province confirmed 733 cases on Monday, 699 on Tuesday, 915 on Monday, 1,033 on Sunday, 1,057 on Saturday and 1,273 on Friday. The seven-day average has dropped to 940, down from 1,441 last Thursday.
“Locally, there are 225 new cases in Toronto, 167 in Peel and 49 in the Porcupine Health Unit region,” Health Minister Christine Elliott said on Twitter.
