PINE GROVE – A 23-year-old man injured in a one-vehicle rollover Monday later died from his injuries, according to the Portage County Sheriff s Office. At 3:41 a.m. Monday, James Johnston of Pine Grove was in a pickup heading south on Harding Road in Pine Grove when it went out of control, entered a ditch and overturned several times, according to the Sheriff s Office. Johnston and another man were both thrown from the pickup in the crash.  A helicopter took Johnston to Aspirus Wausau Hospital where he later died, according to the Sheriff s Office. An ambulance took the other man, a 22-year-old from the Adams County town of Leola, to Ascension St. Michael s Hospital in Stevens Point where he was treated and released.
