One of the nation’s most successful and longest-established insurance recovery practices, led by noted policyholder advocate Robin Cohen, is launching its own law firm. Cohen Ziffer Frenchman & McKenna opens with over 20 lawyers and staff, many of whom have worked together for more than 20 years at prestigious litigation firms, recovering billions of dollars for policyholder clients and securing landmark judicial rulings. Journal Square twin tower project gets final OK, construction to begin in June

A massive Journal Square development project cleared its final hurdle Tuesday night and construction is expected to begin in June.
The Kushner Companies’ 1 Journal Square project, which includes two 52-story residential towers over a 12-story base of retail, commercial and parking, gained final approval from the Jersey City Planning Board in a unanimous vote.
“Kushner is excited to reach this milestone needed to get this pivotal project off the ground and make 1 Journal Square a reality,” said Jenny Bernell, executive vice president of development for Kushner. “We look forward to continuing a great collaboration with Jersey City.”

The new year might be the last year of its type for New Jersey drivers, a year without toll increases.
In sports, 2021 would be known as a “bye” year, since the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and Port Authority of New York and New Jersey increased tolls in 2020 and the Delaware River Port Authority voted not to increase tolls this year.
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission also approved a 2021 budget that did not call for a toll increase.
But 2021 may be the last such year since three major toll agencies move to an automatic toll increase process, based on economic indicators.
