Densmore, 39, Sunset Lane, East Liverpool, was served a secret indictment charging her with unauthorized use of a computer, cable or telecommunications property, a fifth-degree felony, for her alleged actions on July 7, 2020. The indictment against Densmore was issued by the grand jury in January. Valerie M. Hill, 44, West Wilson Street, Salem, was served a secret indictment charging her with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Hill allegedly had methamphetamines on Jan. 24, 2020. Man who destroyed evidence at jail gets 18 months in prison | News, Sports, Jobs

djohnson@mojonews.com LISBON An Alliance man who broke a phone to try to hide evidence from authorities at the county jail was sentenced to 18 months in prison on Thursday in Common Pleas Court. Andrew Conner, 32, told Judge Scott Washam when he has been to court in the past, he has always just told the judge what he thought they wanted to hear so he could get back out and do the things he liked to do on the street. But now, Conner said, he has had a “spiritual awakening.” He said now knows what is important and wants to take his music and his children seriously. He offered to go to drug court or wear an ankle monitor, whatever he had to do.

Feb 6, 2021 Responding to an alarm at a home on Buck Road, Knox Township, a 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, deputies checked around the home, but found no footprints in the snow and the doors and windows secure. Deputies assisted children services in the removal of three children from a Sunset Drive home in Yellow Creek Township at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday. A woman living at the home, 31-year-old Kelly M. Reed, had a warrant and was taken to the county jail. A Kensington woman reported at 1:47 p.m. Tuesday she had purchased an iPhone from a website “Swappa” for $600. The transaction went smoothly and the package was delivered, but she believes someone took the package from the mailbox and she did not receive it.

PERRY TOWNSHIP An officer assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 7:54 a.m. Tuesday at a traffic accident in the 1900 block of state Route 9. Kayla Burkett, 28, of Salem, was cited for failure to yield after stopping at a stop sign on Snyder Road, pulling out to turn south onto Depot Road and colliding with a northbound vehicle driven by Devan Brown, 32, of Salem, at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported. Police were called at 10:52 p.m. Monday to the bypass/interchange where an officer saw a semi parked and spoke to two people delivering cars to a customer and having issues with the truck. The problem was fixed and they were on their way.
