INSPIRATION: A rain of wings and stars, where flowers and leaves also travel in flock. We have created a winged box , where a Hummingbird, a Crane, an Owl, a Finch and a Dove give life to the project through a luminous paper trip. On each slide, we see a flying bird under a sky of twinkling stars and different floral universes harmonious with each other. Everything takes movement almost without words. We have designed a visual lively scenario of delicate finishes. A silent and poetic object.

Packaging Contents: Wine Hess Winery situates itself atop Mount Veeder in Napa County. Not only is it a winery known for its exquisite taste and mountain side growing, but for its remarkable art collection started by their founder, Donald Hess. When charged to redesign wine packaging, I chose Hess’s bottles to further their elegance along side their unique art gallery. I adopted the two ideas of mountain side growing and modern art to create a refined set of bottles for a high and moderately priced Cabernet Sauvignon. For the highest end Cabernet Sauvignon I wanted to create an experience into opening the wine. I fashioned a paper wrap adorning Robille Federick’s “Grey Is The Color Of Hope” that would be pealed or torn to present the chic black bottle underneath.

Copper, earth, leaves and fruits are intertwined graphically in an oenological piece that combines the excellence, elegance and character of a great wine. Its composition between blackberries and black currants, between graphite and black tar chromatically define the visual flavors of this project. Marqués de Casa Concha, Etiqueta Negra (Black Label) comes from the best location in Chile for the crops of red varieties and shows all the potential of the renowned terroir of the Alto Maipo Valley.
