Five Palestinian prisoners complete 17, 19 years in Israeli jails

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 09, 2021 (WAFA) – Five Palestinian prisoners incarcerated in Israeli jails for resisting its occupation have completed today 17 and 19 years behind bars, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS said two prisoners from Tulkarem, who were identified as 41-year-old Ahmad Khaled Jayousi, and Bassam Abu Saqafeh; and are serving 35 lifetimes and in ten years, and nine lifetimes in
Israeli jails, respectively, have completed today 19 years behind bars.
PPS said that prisoner Anas Masalmeh from Hebron, who was sentenced to 30 years in prison, has also completed today 19 years behind bars.
Palestinian prisoner completes 17 years behind Israeli bars
JENIN, Sunday, March 09, 2021 (WAFA) – Palestinian political prisoner in Israeli detention Anas Rashed Hethnawi completes today 17 years behind Israeli prison bars, said the Palestinian Prisoner Society.
Hethnawi, who comes from the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, was arrested on this day in 2004, and was sentenced 25 years in prison for his activism in the armed resistance against the Israeli occupation.
Like many Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, Hethnawi was held in solitary confinement and denied family visitation several times by the Israeli occupation authorities as a punishment against him and his entire family.
