Oregon had 37 new deaths from COVID-19 over the weekend and nearly 2,700 new confirmed cases.
530 patients were hospitalized on Sunday which is six fewer than Saturday.
On Saturday, there were 1,542 new cases and 36 new deaths. On Sunday, there were 1,153 new cases and 1 new death.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 1,341 deaths and nearly 102,930 cases.
The new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases reported today are in the following counties: Baker (4) Benton (7), Clackamas (77), Clatsop (3), Columbia (9), Coos (5), Crook (5), Curry (7), Deschutes (43), Douglas (4), Hood River (17), Jackson (47), Jefferson (4), Josephine (16), Klamath (50), Lake (4), Lane (61), Lincoln (3), Linn (27), Malheur (6), Marion (203), Morrow (3), Multnomah (174), Polk (19), Sherman (1), Tillamook (1), Umatilla (44), Union (3), Wasco (17), Washington (261), Yamhill (28).

Oregon Health Authority (OHA) reported 36 more deaths due to COVID-19 in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 1,340.

PORTLAND, Ore. Oregon Health Authority (OHA) reported 36 more deaths due to COVID-19 in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 1,340.
OHA also reported 1,542 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 today bringing the state total to 101,814.
The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 536, which is three fewer than yesterday. There are 104 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) beds, which is seven fewer than yesterday.
