TWO separate traffic accidents are being investigated by police after one man was airlifted to hospital in Brisbane and another taken in a stable condition to Ipswich Hospital overnight in Fernvale.
Officer in Charge of Lowood Police, Senior sergeant James Bromley said at 8.35pm on Wednesday, police were called to a single vehicle crash on the Forest Hill Fernvale Road at Fernvale.
A 25-year-old male driver from Lowood was travelling along the road when his Mitsubishi Triton crossed onto the wrong side of the road and proceeded down an embankment and into a gully, sergeant Bromley said.

COUNCIL bosses have urged residents to stick to the coronavirus guidelines following an exponential increase in Essex s infection rate. Essex County Council says its latest figures show the average infection rate across the county is now 305.3 cases per 100,000 people. This is an increase of 79 per cent from a week ago. Nearly every area of Essex has seen a significant increase in the rate of Covid, with the total number of cases rising to 4,547 in the seven days up to 10 December. Cases are very high in specific age groups, with the rates for people over 60 now standing at 140 per 100,000 - an increase of 37% in the past week.

First his underwent two liver transplants in 2016 when one gastroenterological condition, ulcerative colitis, led to another rarer condition known as primary sclerosing cholangitis, which damaged his liver.
“I had it for about 10 years and that ended, that culminated in 2016 with me getting a transplant,” he told the Princess Alexandra Research Foundation.
“I was just getting too sick and too many infections which is always the thing that happened when you’ve got PSC bugs get into your bile and your bile not getting out of your liver.”
The NHS England data was taken at 8am last Tuesday, December 8. This is down from 64 on the same day the previous week. The number of beds at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 more than doubled in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 21. The figures also show that 10 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in the week to December 6. This was up from four in the previous seven days.
