Three people are in hospital with two in ICU.
Staff note there are a total of four outbreaks:
1 case connected to a workplace in Quinte West
3 cases connected to a workplace in Trenton
6 cases connected to a workplace in Belleville.
5 cases connected to a school/child care facility. The health unit has not identified the specific place.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health announced yesterday that a person who visited The Duke Pub in Belleville yesterday has tested positive for COVID-19. Customers who visited in the afternoon and evening of Friday, April 2 are considered high-risk contacts are being asked to get tested and self-isolate. Individuals who visited the Duke Pub between Tuesday, March 30 – and Thursday, April 1 are encouraged to seek testing for COVID-19 immediately, even if asymptomatic.
