(Liam Griffin/Patch) WOODBRIDGE, VA The Moderna coronavirus vaccine will be available to anyone who visits George Mason University s mobile vaccine clinic on Tuesday. The clinic will be located at the parking lot of Bayvue Apartments in Woodbridge. The mobile clinic will operate from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27. The clinic will be located at 1293 Bayside Ave, Woodbridge, VA 22191. The Moderna vaccine is approved for anyone who is over the age of 18. Now that Prince William County is in Phase 2 of the state s vaccine rollout plan, any adult can visit the mobile clinic to receive the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

An additional 65,000 people have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine, but not the second. The county s daily vaccination numbers have increased since a mass vaccination clinic was added at the former Gander Mountain location near the Potomac Mills mall in Woodbridge last month. Now, the county averages approximately 5,000 vaccines administered per day, according to the vaccine dashboard.
