Frisbie Foundation to become Rochester Community Health Foundation ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation has signed an agreement with the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, creating a formal collaboration between the two organizations. GRCHF will become a supporting organization” of the NHCF, drawing on NHCF’s community knowledge and financial and investment expertise to meet its mission. The Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation is the new name of the Frisbie Foundation and is being funded with proceeds from the sale of the nonprofit Frisbie Memorial Hospital to HCA Healthcare, Inc. (Frisbie Memorial Hospital remains open to serve the community, under the ownership of HCA Healthcare, Inc.).

Today’s results include 165 people who tested positive by PCR test and 120 who tested positive by antigen test. There are now 3,159 current COVID-19 cases diagnosed in New Hampshire. Several cases are still under investigation. Additional information from ongoing investigations will be incorporated into future COVID-19 updates. Of those with complete information, there are 59 individuals under the age of 18 and the rest are adults with 47% being female and 53% being male. Today’s results include 258 people who tested positive by PCR test and 176 who tested positive by antigen test. There are now 3,387 current COVID-19 cases diagnosed in New Hampshire. Two NH clinics closing tied to Frisbie Hospital, one HCA care facility

SOMERSWORTH HCA Healthcare will close an occupational care facility and two area walk-in clinics associated with Frisbie Memorial Hospital at noon May 14. Services currently provided at Seacoast Redicare, an occupational care office on High Street in Somersworth, will be transitioned to Portsmouth Regional Hospital to ensure “uninterrupted access to these critical services in the community,” HCA representatives said in a statement. HCA is the parent company of both Frisbie, located in Rochester, and Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Barrington Walk-In Care in Barrington and White Mountain Medical Center Walk-In Care in Sanbornville are the walk-in clinics that will close. HCA representatives stressed the family care practices co-located at those locations will continue despite the walk-in clinic closures.
