The upstate Democrat recently unveiled his own 21st Century homage to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt s signature initiatives against the Great Depression. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing energy efficiency in buildings and spurring economic activity based in the transition to renewable energy all have a place in the plans that Ryan unveiled earlier this month. What makes his plan unique is how it might show how county governments might tackle climate change.

It’s been that way for a long time.” “I think it was a bad idea when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt tried to pack the court,” she added. On this issue, she was absolutely right.
The latest efforts to expand the size of the Supreme Court of the United States should be viewed through political lenses. Last week, one of the major proponents of the new legislation Sen. Ed Markey stood outside the Supreme Court at a podium with a sign that read, “Expand the Court.”
The senators expressed opposition to expanding the Supreme Court amid a push from Democrats to do just that.
